Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Monday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday with increase in the market cap by 1.79% or EGP 273.675 billion compared to EGP 268.855 billion at the end of Sunday’s session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.64% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 267.326 million which represents 17.12% of the total trading volume today after 6.674 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.72% of the total trading volume.
