Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday, 31 January with a decline in the market cap by 4.99% or EGP 267.074 billion compared to EGP 281.110 billion at the end of Monday session
The market cap of the banking sector reached 26.68% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 329.670 million which represents 16.76% of the total trading volume today after 9.023 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.87% of the total trading volume today.
