Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Wednesday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Wednesday 15 February with increase in the market cap by 1.82% or EGP 295.411 billion compared to EGP 290.136 billion at the end of yesterday’s session
The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.89% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 503.592 million which represents 18.84% of the total trading volume today after 14.701 million shares were exchanged capturing 2.61% of the total trading volume
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 51.8 million on shares
