Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Monday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 13 February with decline in the market cap by 0.30% or EGP 287.784 billion compared to EGP 288.650 billion at the end of Sunday
The market cap of the banking sector reached 28.01% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 799.646 million which represents 34.40% of the total trading volume today after 17.964 million shares were exchanged capturing 3.80% of the total trading volume
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Monday’s trading session with decline EGX30 only and turnover amounted EGP 1.2 billion on shares
