Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Sunday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Sunday 12 February with decline in the market cap by 3.25% or EGP 288.650 billion compared to EGP 298.361 billion at the end of last Thursday
The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.26% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 321.116 million which represents 17.67% of the total trading volume today after 6.798 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.44% of the total trading volume
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Sunday’s trading session with decline EGX30 only and turnover amounted EGP 51.8 million on shares
