NBE, Banque Misr And QNB AL AHLI, Are Largest Banks In The Market Share Of Loans

First Bank list of the largest Egyptian banks in the market share of the loan portfolio by the end of September 2022 revealed that the National Bank of Egypt topped the list with a market share of 40.36%, at a value of 1.46 trillion pounds by the end of September 2022.

This reflects the bank's continued growth, as it succeeded in the first 9 months of 2022 to increase its loan portfolio by EGP 285.2 billion.

Banque Misr cames in second place, with a market share of 18.57% of total banking sector loans by the end of September 2022, after its portfolio recorded EGP 671.8 billion at the end of the same period.

QNB Al Ahli Bank came third with a market share of 5.96%, at the end of last September, with a value of EGP 215.6 billion, followed by CIB with a market share of 5.47%, with EGP 198 billion at the end of the same period. Period.

As for the fifth place, it was obtained by Banque du Caire, with a market share of 3.42%, at a value of EGP 123.8 billion by the end of September 2022, followed by the Arab African international Bank with 2.99% by the end of the same period.

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt ranked seventh with 1.70%, at the end of last September, after its total portfolio reached EGP 63 billion, followed by Alex Bank in eighth place with 1.5893% at the end of the same period.

ADIB- Egypt came in ninth place with a market share of 1.5876%, by the end of September 2022, followed by Ahli United Bank in tenth place with 1.40% at the end of the same period last year.
