EBank, saibBank and Suez Canal Bank, Are Fastest Growing listed Banks In Net Profits At 2022
Firstbank list of banks with the fastest growth in net profits during 2022 revealed that E Bank topped the list at a rate of 145.10% during the past year, to record EGP1.229 bn during 2022, compared to EGP501 mn in 2021.
saib bank occupied second place with a growth rate of 137.15% over the past year, recording net profits of EGP744 mn in 2022, compared to EGP 314 mn in 2021.
Suez Canal Bank ranked third, after its net profit jumped by 72% over the past year, to record EGP 1.040 bn in 2022, compared to EGP 605 mn in 2021.
As for the fourth place, Faisal Bank's net profits increased by 66.80% over the past year, to record EGP4.475 bn in 2022, compared to EGP2.683 bn in 2021.
alBaraka Bank Egypt came in fifth place with a growth rate of 55% over the past year, recording a net profit of EGP1.755 bn in 2022, compared to EGP1.132 bn in the previous year.
It should be noted that all values and growth rates mentioned above, are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank during the year 2022.
