CIB, QNB ALAHLI, Faisal Bank, ADIB and Housing Bank, Are Largest listed Banks In Terms Of Assets Portfolio By End Of 2022
CIB topped Firstbank list after its total asset portfolio increased from EGP496.7 bn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 633.6 bn at the end of December 2022.
QNB Al Ahli occupied second place after recording its total asset portfolio of EGP476.8 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP354.2 bn at the end of December 2021.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came third, after its total asset portfolio increased from EGP 57.4 bn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 74.7 bn at the end of December 2022, followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt in fourth place, with EGP115.5 bn at the end of last year.
Housing and Development Bank came fifth, after its total assets portfolio jumped to record EGP 103.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 76.3 bn at the end of December 2021.
E Bank came sixth, after its total assets portfolio increased from EGP76.2 bn at the end of December 2021, to record EGP96.7 bn at the end of December 2022, followed by alBaraka Bank Egypt in seventh place, with EGP 87.2 bn at the end of the same period.
Egyptian Gulf Bank came in eighth place, with a total assets portfolio of EGP 86.7 bn, while saibBank ranked ninth with EGP86.1 bn at the end of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank ranked tenth, after its total assets portfolio increased from EGP 57.4 bn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 74.7 bn at the end of December 2022, followed by Credit Agricole Bank - Egypt, with EGP 75.1 bn at the end of the same period.
