First Bank list of fastest growing listed banks in terms of net interest income during 2022 revealed that saibBank topped the list, after its net interest income jumped by 69.77%, to record EGP3.53 bn during the past year, compared to EGP 2.08 bn during 2021.

Total net interest income of listed banks jumped by 26.35%, to record EGP83.22 bn in 2022, compared to EGP65.86 bn in 2021.

EBank came in second place, after raising its net interest income by 65.63%, to record EGP3.05 bn in 2022, compared to EGP 1.84 bn in 2021.

Housing and Development Bank came third at a rate of 50.14%, as it recorded net interest income of EGP4.91 bn in 2022, compared to EGP 3.27 bn in 2021.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank came in fourth place, after its net interest income jumped by 37.64%, to reach EGP4.73 bn in 2022, compared to EGP3.44 bn in 2021

As for fifth place, QNB Al Ahli's net interest income increased to EGP 19.58 bn in 2022, compared to EGP 14.92 bn in 2021, achieving a growth rate of 31.20%.

It should be noted that all values ​​and growth rates mentioned above, are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank at the end of December 2022.
