ADIB Egypt, HD Bank and QNB Al Ahli, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Corporates Deposits At 2022
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt topped Firstbank list with a growth rate of 69.64%, after its total corporates deposits portfolio increased to record EGP48.3 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 28.5 bn at the end of December. 2021.
Housing and Development Bank took second place after its total corporates deposits portfolio jumped by 53.88% over the past year, to record EGP 62.3 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 40.5 bn at the end of December 2021.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli came in third place, with a growth rate of 53.34% over the past year, after the bank’s total corporates deposits portfolio rose to EGP262.4 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP171.1 bn at the end of December 2021.
Commercial International Bank came fourth, after its total corporates deposits portfolio increased by a growth rate of 45.79% over the past year, to record EGP 262.2 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 179.9 bn at the end of December 2021.
Credit Agricole Bank – Egypt ranked fifth, with a growth rate of 45.48% over the past year, corporates deposits portfolio recorded EGP36.2 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP24.9 bn at the end of December 2021.
