saibBank, E Bank And ADIB Egypt, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Equity At 2022
First Bank list of fastest growing listed banks in total equity At 2022, revealed that saibBank topped the list at a rate of 53.14%, about EGP 8.4 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 5.5 bn at the end of December 2022.
EBank came in second place with a growth rate of 44.42% over the past year, after its total equity increased to EGP9.7 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 6.7 bn at the end of December 2021.
ADIB Egypt came in third place, with a growth rate of 33.42% over the past year, after its equity portfolio recorded EGP8.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP6.5 bn at the end of December 2021.
And Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came fourth, after its total equity portfolio increased by 28.86% over the past year to EGP 22 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 17 bn at the end of December 2021.
alBaraka Bank - Egypt ranked fifth with a growth rate of 26.33% over the past year, after its total equity portfolio recorded EGP 7.6 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 6 bn at the end of December 2021, followed by Suez Canal Bank with a growth rate of 25% during the same period.
It should be noted that all values and growth rates mentioned above, are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank at the end of December 2022.
