Foreign exchange rate at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the beginning of Wednesday 8 March trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 30.7765 for buying and EGP 30.8857 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was ADIB Bank Egypt at EGP 30.83

The lowest rate for selling was National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 30.78

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 32.7893 for buying and EGP32.9118 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in NBK bank Egypt at EGP 32.80 The lowest rate for selling was in National Bank of Egypt at EGP 32.49

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 36.7865 for buying and EGP 37.0196 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying in Blom Bank Egypt at EGP36.92

While the lowest rate for selling in NBE at EGP36.45

 Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP8.1988 for buying and EGP 8.2287 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt was at EGP8.21

The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 8.20

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 100.2559 for buying and EGP100.6443 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in SAIB and QNB was at EGP100.12The lowest price for selling was in the NBE and Banque Misr at EGP 100.16

Emirati Dirham
