alBaraka Bank enhances its Individual loans during 2022
Al Baraka Bank’s individual loan portfolio grew by 74.44%, to reach EGP4.33 bn by the end of the year, compared to EGP2.48 bn by the end of 2021, an increase of 1.85 bn.
Personal finance portfolio increased by 98% during the year 2022, to record EGP3.74 bn at the end of last year, compared to EGP1.89 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP 1.85 bn.
Personal finances were distributed among Greater Cairo, which obtained EGP3.27 bn, while Alexandria, Delta and Sinai received EGP471.16 mn by the end of 2022.
Credit card portfolio increased by 18.45%, to reach EGP29.71 mn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP25.08 mn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP4.63 mn.
Credit card portfolio was distributed among Greater Cairo, which received EGP 22.63 mn, Alexandria, Delta and Sinai, which received EGP7.08 mn at the end of last year.
It is worth noting that the decline in Mortgage finance at didn't affect, as it declined to EGP554.48 mn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP565.04 mn at the end of 2021, on total individual finance portfolio
