HD Bank, alBaraka Bank and CIB, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Corporates Loans At 2022
Housing and Development Bank topped Firstbank list with a growth rate of 56.01%, after its total corporates loans portfolio jumped to nearly EGP 17 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 10.9 bn at the end of December. 2021.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt came third, after its total corporates loans portfolio increased by 35.5% over the past year, to record EGP 165.3 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 122 bn at the end of the previous December.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt came in fourth place, with 30.59% over the past year, recording its total corporates loans portfolio of EGP 45.3 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 34.7 bn at the end of December 2021.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli ranked fifth, with a growth rate of 24.96% over the past year, after its total corporates loan portfolio increased to EGP 185.5 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 148.5 bn at the end of December 2021.
