Bank loans soar to EGP4.094 tn by end of 2022
The Central Bank of Egypt's report, issued today, revealed that the banking sector’s loans increased to record EGP4.094 tn by the end of December 2022.
The report added that loans of 10 large banks recorded about EGP 3.280 tn, accounting for 80.12% of the total banking sector loans.
Moreover, loans of 5 large banks occupied 73.13% of the banking sector’s loans, to record EGP2.994 tn by end of December 2022
