EGBANK, HDBank And Credit Agricole Bank, Top listed banks in focusing on personal loans by end of 2022
EGBANK topped FirstBank list after recording the highest relative weight for grant personal loans out of the bank’s total loans portfolio by 28.17%, as its personal loan portfolio recorded EGP 8.012 bn by end of 2022, while total loans portfolio recorded EGP28.445 bn by the end of the same period.
Housing and Development Bank took second place by 23.79% in Personal loans Department, recorded EGP 9.077 bn at the end of 2022, while the bank's total loans portfolio recorded EGP 38.162 bn at the end of the same period.
Credit Agricole Bank-Egypt came third; its personal loans department contributed 23.59% of the bank’s total loans portfolio at the end of last year, which recorded EGP34.403 bn by the end of 2022, while the bank’s personal loans finance portfolio recorded EGP 8.116 bn by the end of the same period.
And Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt ranked fourth, 22.72% in Personal loans Department, which recorded EGP 13.561 bn at the end of 2022, while total loans portfolio recorded EGP 59.677 bn at the end of the same period.
saib came in fifth place, after the bank’s personal loans department contributed 18.70% of total loans portfolio, EGP 41.674 bn at the end of 2022, while its personal loans finance portfolio recorded EGP7.791bn at the end of the same period.
