ADCB's Financial performance revealed a remarkable growth in the bank’s asset portfolio, as it jumped to EGP86.17 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP48.36 bn by the end of 2021, a growth rate of 78.20%, and an increase of EGP37.81 bn.

local currency

 acquired with a share of 87.22%, after its asset portfolio in Egyptian pounds jumped by 73.54%, to reach EGP 75.15 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP43.31 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP31.85 bn.

foreign currency

Total assets in foreign currencies jumped by 118.18%, to reach EGP11.02 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP5.05 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP5.97 bn, 12.78% of the bank’s total assets.

The bank's assets in euros were the fastest growing during 2022, as it jumped by 225.75%, to reach EGP400.48 mn at the end of last year, compared to EGP122.94 mn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP277.54 mn, 0.46% of the bank's total assets.

The bank's assets in pound sterling jumped to EGP14.55 mn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP10.67 mn by the end of 2021, with a growth rate of 36.43%, and an increase of EGP3.89 mn.

Moreover, The Bank's assets in other foreign currencies increased by 423.93%, reaching EGP57.8 mn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP11.03 mn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP46.77 mn.

Pre-taxes profits jumped by 56.82%, reaching EGP1.67 bn in 2022, compared to EGP1.06 bn in 2021, an increase of EGP603.58 mn.

Its net profit increased from EGP710.25 mn in 2021 to EGP1.06 bn in 2022, achieving a growth rate of 49.98%, and an increase of EGP354.97 mn.

Financing to clients jumped by 40.88%, to reach EGP31.40 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP 22.29 bn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP9.11 bn.

Deposit portfolio jumped by 83.64%, to record EGP75.49 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP 41.11 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP34.38 bn.
