Bank assets soar to EGP 11.400 tn by end of 2022.
The Central Bank of Egypt's report, issued today, revealed that the banking sector's assets increased to record EGP11.400 tn by the end of December 2022.
Assets of 10 large banks recorded EGP 8.957 tn, 78.57% of total assets of the banking sector.
Assets of 5 large banks acquired 70.70% of the banking sector’s assets, recording EGP 8.060 tn by the end of December 2022.
