Faisal Bank, EGBANK and CIB, Top listed banks in focusing on financial investments by end of 2022
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt topped FirstBank list, after the bank’s total financial investments obtained the highest relative weight of its total assets by 61.89%, to record EGP93.85 bn by end of 2022, while it recorded Total assets of EGP 151.64 bn by the end of the same period.
Egyptian Gulf Bank ranked second, after total financial investments acquired a relative weight of 41.78% of the bank’s total assets, as total financial investments recorded EGP 36.24 bn at the end of last year, while the total financial position recorded EGP 86.74 bn at the end of the same period.
Commercial International Bank came in third place, by 37.59% of total financial investments, as the bank’s total financial investments recorded EGP 238.17 bn, while asset portfolio recorded EGP633.6 bn by the end of 2022.
QNB Al Ahli came fourth, with 36.67% of the bank’s total financial investments, recorded EGP 174.86 bn at the end of 2022, while total assets recorded EGP476.79 bn at the end of the same period.
alBaraka Bank occupied fifth place, by 36.29% of total financial investments, recorded EGP 31.65 bn at the end of 2022, while the bank’s total assets recorded EGP 87.22 bn at the end of the same period.
It should be noted that all ratios and values mentioned above are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank by the end of 2022.
