EGP index fell against a basket of major currencies to 53.044 points on Tuesday
The Egyptian pound index fell against the major currencies during Tuesday 28 March 2023. The index reached 53.044 points, compared to 53.214 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the Japanese Yen, pound sterling, Euro, and settled against the UAE dirham, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 37.94 to EGP 38.07 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP 37.81 to EGP37.94
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 33.31 to EGP 33.47 and the average buying price rose from EGP 33.19 to EGP 33.35 at theend of today's trading
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.23 and EGP 8.20 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.49 while the buying price rose from EGP 4.47 to EGP 4.48at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 23.53 to EGP 23.62 while the buying price rose from EGP 23.45 to EGP 23.54
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egyptsettled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
