The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Sunday 18 June 2023, The index reached 53.256 points, compared to 53.564 points on last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan it rose against the Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP33.52 to EGP 33.83, while the average buying increased from EGP33.40 to EGP 33.71 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP39.17 to EGP 39.66, while the average buying rose from EGP39.03 to EGP 39.53 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP4.32 to EGP 4.34, while the average buying rose from EGP 4.30 to EGP 4.32 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 21.92 to EGP 21.81 while the buying price fell from EGP 21.85 to EGP 21.74.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
