The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Wednesday 21 June 2023, The index reached 53.432 points, compared to 53.367 points on Yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 4 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, Euro, Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP33.81 to EGP 33.79, while the average buying decreased from EGP33.70 to EGP 33.67 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP39.48 to EGP 39.37, while the average buying fell from EGP39.34 to EGP 39.24 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP4.31 to EGP 4.30, while the average buying settled at EGP 4.29 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 21.87 to EGP 21.81 while the buying price fell from EGP 21.79 to EGP 21.74.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.
