EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 52.875 points on Wednesday
The Egyptian pound index Increased against the major currencies during Wednesday 12 April 2023. The index reached 52.875 points, compared to 52.850 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index Increased against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Japanese Yen, it fell against the Euro and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Chinese Yuan.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 38.47 to EGP 38.37, while the average buying declined from EGP 38.35 to EGP 38.25 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Euro in Egyptrose from EGP 33.78 to EGP 33.81 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP 33.66 to EGP 33.69
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egyptsettled at EGP4.49at the end of today's trading while the average buying rose from EGP 4.47 to EGP 4.48
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.24to EGP 23.13 while the buying price fell from EGP 23.16 to EGP 23.06
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while thebuying price rose from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
