EGP index Rose against a basket of major currencies to 54.138 points on Wednesday
The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Wednesday 8 March 2023. The index reached 54.138 points, compared to 53.897 points on Tuesday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound
It climbed against Japanese Yen pound sterling, Chinese Yuan and Euro, and fell against the UAE dirham US dollar, Saudi riyal
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 36.99 to EGP 36.62 at the end of today's trading , while the average buying decreased from EGP36.86 to EGP36.49.
The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.89 to EGP 32.58 and the average buying price fell from EGP 32.78 to EGP 32.47 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 22.67 to EGP22.53 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.59 to EGP 22.46
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.44 while the buying price Fell from EGP4.43 to EGP 4.42 at The end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.86 to EGP30.91 while the buying price Rose from EGP30.76 to EGP 30.81.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.22 to EGP 8.23 while the buying price rose from EGP8.19 to EGP8.20 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 8.40 to EGP8.41 while the buying price rose from EGP 8.37 to EGP 8.38 at the end of today's trading.
