EGP index increases against a basket of major currencies to 54.353 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Wednesday 15 February 2023. The index reached 54.353 points, compared to 54.103 points on yesterday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It climbed against the Pound Sterling, the Japanese Yen and the Euro, Chinese Yuan while it settled against US dollar, Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 37.36 to EGP 36.92 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying decreased from EGP37.23 to EGP36.80

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.92 to EGP 32.79, and the average buying price declined from EGP 32.80 to EGP 32.67

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 23.15 to EGP22.92 while the buying price fell from EGP 23.08 to EGP 22.85

 The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.49 to EGP4.47 while the buying price fell from EGP 4.47 to EGP 4.45

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.60while the buying price settled at EGP 30.50

The average selling price of the UAE dirham  in Egypt settled at EGP 8.33 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.30

The average selling price of the UAE dirham  in Egypt settled at EGP 8.15 while the buying price settled at EGP8.13 at the end  of Wednesday trading
