EGP index declines against a basket of major currencies to 54.743 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 currencies during Wednesday 8, February 2023. The index reached 54.743 points, compared to 55.151 points at Tuesday trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It fell against the, Saudi Riyal , Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling, The UAE Dirham, Chinese Yuan, Euro ,US Dollar.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.33 to EGP30.40 while the buying price increased from EGP 30.23 to EGP 30.30

The average Euro selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 32.49 to EGP 32.67 at the end of Wednesday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 32.37 to EGP 32.56

The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt increases from EGP 36.39 to EGP 36.80 at the end of Wednesday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 36.27 to EGP 36.67

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 22.97 to EGP23.24 at the end of Wednesday trading While the buying price increased from EGP 22.90 to EGP 23.16

The average rate of the Chinese yuan increased in Egypt from EGP 4.47 to EGP 4.48for selling while the buying price increased from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.46 at the end of Wednesday

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.08to EGP8.10 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.05 to EGP 8.07

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 8.25 to EGP8.27 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.23 to EGP 8.25 at the end of Wednesday
