The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Tuesday 7 February 2023. The index reached 55.151 points, compared to 54.963 points on yesterday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It climbed against the Pound Sterling, the Japanese Yen, and the Euro while it remained stable against the US dollar, Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham Chinese Yuan

 

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 36.63 to EGP 36.39 at the end of Tuesday trading, while the average buying decreased from EGP36.50 to EGP36.27.

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.70 to EGP 32.49, and the average buying price declinedfrom EGP 32.59 to EGP 32.37

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 22.98 to EGP22.97 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.91 to EGP 22.90

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.33 for selling and EGP 30.23 for buying

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.08 for selling and  EGP 8.05 pounds for buyingat the end of today's trading

The average selling price of theChinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.47 for selling and EGP 4.47 pounds for buying

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt also settled at 8.25 pounds for selling, and 8.23 pounds for buying at the end of today's trading
