EGP index declines against a basket of major currencies to 54.360 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index Fell against the major currencies during Wednesday 1 March 2023. The index reached 54.360 points, compared to 54.591 points on yesterday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against Chinese Yuan, and Euro,Japanese Yen It rose against pound sterling, and settled against the UAE dirham US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 37.09 to EGP 36.96 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying fell from EGP36.97 to EGP36.83

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt rose from EGP 32.54 to EGP 32.71, and the average buying price rose from EGP 32.43 to EGP 32.59end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.66 while the buying price settled at EGP 30.56

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt Settled at EGP 8.17 while the buying price settled at EGP8.14 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.42 to EGP22.64 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.34 to EGP 22.56.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.42 to EGP4.46 while the buying price rose from EGP 4.40to EGP 4.45

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.34 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.32at the end of today's trading.
