EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 52.759 points on Thursday
The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Thursday 6 April 2023. The index reached 52.759 points, compared to 52.740 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against one Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro it fell against the pound sterling Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 38.55 to EGP 38.61 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP 38.41 to EGP 38.47
The average selling price of the Euro in Egyptfell from EGP 33.83 to EGP 33.76 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying fell from EGP 33.72 to EGP 33.64
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the average buying rose from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egyptrose from EGP 4.49 to EGP 4.50 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.48
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 23.49 to EGP 23.52 while the buying price rose from EGP 23.41 to EGP 23.45
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
