EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.028 points on Sunday
The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Sunday 2 April 2023. The index reached 53.028 points, compared to 52.966 points on last Thursday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Euro, it fell against Chinese Yuan, and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 38.18 to EGP 38.16 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying fell from EGP 38.04 to EGP38.03
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 33.66 to EGP 33.54 and the average buying price fell from EGP 33.54 to EGP 33.42 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.21. at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.49 to EGP 4.50 while the buying price Settled at EGP 4.48 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.33 to EGP 23.29 while the buying price fell from EGP 23.25 to EGP 23.21
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
