EGP index declines against a basket of major currencies to 54.211 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index Fell against the major currencies during Sunday 5 March 2023. The index reached 54.211 points, compared to 54.297 points on last Thursday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against, Euro and pound sterling,Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham US dollar, Saudi riyal. Chinese Yuan

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 36.84 to EGP 37.03 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP36.71 to EGP36.91.

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt rose from EGP 32.67 to EGP 32.71 and the average buying price rose from EGP 32.55 to EGP 32.59 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.75 while the buying price settled at EGP 30.65.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt Settled at EGP 8.19 while the buying price settled at EGP8.16 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.53 to EGP22.63 while the buying price rose from EGP 22.45 to EGP 22.56.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.45 and EGP4.43 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.37 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.34at the end of today's trading.
