EGP index increases against a basket of major currencies to 54.432 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Sunday 12 February 2023. The index reached 54.432 points, compared to 54.246 points on last Thursday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It climbed against the Pound Sterling, the Japanese Yenand the Euro,Chinese Yuanwhile it declined againstUS dollar, Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 37.09 to EGP 36.86 at the endof today's trading , while the average buying decreased from EGP36.97 to EGP36.73.

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.87 to EGP 32.63, and the average buying price declined from EGP 32.76 to EGP 32.52

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 23.33 to EGP23.25 while the buying price fell from EGP 23.25 to EGP 23.18

 The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.50 to EGP4.49 while the buying price fell from EGP 4.49 to EGP 4.47

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Increased from EGP 30.53 to EGP30.56 while the buying price rose from EGP 30.43 to EGP 30.46

The average selling price of theSaudi riyal in Egypt Increased from EGP 8.13 to EGP8.14 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.11 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt Increased from EGP 8.31 to EGP8.32 while the buying price rose from EGP 8.28 to EGP 8.29at the end  of Today's trading
