EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.563 points on Monday
The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Monday 26 June 2023, The index reached 53.563 points, compared to 53.545 points on yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against one Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Chinese Yuan, it fell against Japanese Yen, Euro and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal, pound sterling.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP33.70 to EGP 33.77 while the average buying increased from EGP33.58 to EGP 33.65 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt settled at EGP 39.33, while the average buying fell from EGP39.20 to EGP 39.19 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.27, while the average buying declined from EDP 4.29 EGP to 4.26 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 21.53 to EGP 21.66 while the buying price increased from EGP 21.46 to EGP 21.53.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
