EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.428 points on Monday
The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Monday 22 May 2023. The index reached 53.428 points, compared to 53.417 points on yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, it fell against the pound sterling, Euro and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 33.42 to EGP 33.46, while the average buying rose from EGP 33.31 to EGP33.35 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 38.50 to EGP 38.53, while the average buying rose from EGP 38.37 to EGP 38.39 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.41 to EGP 4.40 while the average buying decreased from EGP 4.39 to EGP 4.38 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 22.42 to EGP 22.41 while the buying price decreased from EGP 22.34 to EGP 22.33.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt fell from EGP 8.25 to EGP 8.24,while the buying price increased from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
