EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.815 points on Monday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Monday 29 May 2023. The index reached 53.815 points, compared to 53.814 points on yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, Chinese Yuan, it fell against the Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, pound, sterling and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.18 to EGP 33.16, while the average buying fell from EGP 33.07 to EGP33.05 at the end of today's trading

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 38.19 to EGP 38.22, while the average buying rose from EGP 38.06 to EGP 38.09 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.38 to EGP 4.37 while the buying price fell from EGP 4.36 to EGP 4.35.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 21.99 to EGP 22.06 while the buying price increased from EGP 21.92 to EGP 21.99.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 8.24 to EGP 8.25,while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93while the buying price increased from EGP 30.83 to EGP 30.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
