The contribution of top 10 banks in Mortgage financing, worth EGP52.821 bn by June-2023end

Mai Abdel Hamid, head of Mortgage Finance Fund, revealed that Mortgage financing provided through the top 10 banks reached EGP52.821 bn by the end of June 2023.
She pointed to the increase in Mortgage estate financing provided through 22 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector to EGP57.740 bn by the end of June 2023.
She added that the number of customers benefiting from Mortgage financing in banks reached 494.492 thousand customers, accounting for 96.1% of total customers benefiting from Mortgage financing during the past month.
First Bank monitors the volume of contribution of top 10 banks in Mortgage financing by the end of June last month, and the number of customers benefiting from each bank, and its percentage of total Mortgage financing:
