First Bank Identifies the Contribution of Top 10 Banks in Mortgage Financing with EGP 52.247 Bn by May-2023end

May Abdel Hamid , Head of the Real Estate Finance Fund, revealed an increase in Mortgage financing provided by the top 10 banks to EGP 52.247 bn by the end of May 2023.

She also noted that the total Mortgage financing provided by 22 active banks in the Egyptian banking sector reached EGP 57.097 bn by the end of May 2023.

In exclusive statements to First Bank, she added that the number of customers benefiting from Mortgage financing in banks amounted to 490,603 clients, accounting for around 96.1% of the total customers benefiting from Mortgage financing in the past month.

First Bank highlights the contribution of the top 10 banks in Mortgage financing by the end of last May, as well as the number of customers benefiting from each bank and its percentage of total Mortgage financing.
