EGP index Fell against a basket of major currencies to 52.481 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Sunday 16 July 2023, The index reached 52.481 points, compared to 52.613 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan it rose against Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 34.57 to EGP 34.74 while the average buying increased from EGP 34.46 to EGP 34.62 at the end of today's trading.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 40.44 to EGP 40.50 while the average buying increased from EGP 40.31 to EGP 40.37 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.31 to EGP4.33 while the average buying rose from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.37 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 22.34 to EGP 22.30 while the buying price decreased from EGP 22.26 to EGP 22.22.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
