CIB Tops Largest Listed banks in terms of customer deposits by June 2023End

First Bank List Ranking Listed Banks in terms of largest value in customer deposits At The End Of The First Half Of The Current Year Revealed That Commercial International Bank- Egypt Topped The List, Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 656.4 Bn By The End Of June 2023, With A Growth Rate Of 23.82% During The first Half of the current year.
The List, Which Included 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Showed That All The Analyzed Banks Were Able To Increase Their Total Deposit Portfolios By A Combined Value Of EGP 1.934 tn During The Period From January To June 2023.
Qatar National Bank- QNB Came Second After Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 461.05 Bn, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 13.26% During The First Half Of 2023.
Faisal Islamic Bank Of Egypt Ranked Third With A Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 132.6 Bn, Growing At A Rate Of 7.25% During The First Half Of 2023. It Was Followed By Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt In The Fourth Position, With A Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 110.6 Bn And A Growth Rate Of 13.18% During The Same Period.
As For Fifth Position, It Was Taken By Housing And Development Bank, Whose Deposit Portfolio Rose To EGP 90.9 Bn With A Growth Rate Of 1.57% During The First Half Of The Current Year.
alBaraka Bank Ranked sixth On The List In Terms Of Its Customer Deposit Portfolio, Which Amounted To EGP 87.6 Bn, Recording A Growth Rate Of 5.63% During The First Half Of 2023. Followed By EBank In The Seventh Position With EGP 84.1 Bn During The same period.
saib Ranked Eight After Its Deposit Portfolio rose to EGP 83.8 Bn, With A Growth Rate Of 14.81% During The First Half Of The Current Year. Followed By EGBANK With A Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 78.6 Bn During The Same Period Of 2023.
Crédit Agricole - Egypt Ranked Tenth After Achieving The Highest Growth Rate Among The Listed Banks, At 23.96%, Bringing Its Portfolio Size To EGP 75 Bn By The End Of June 2023, Followed by, Suez Canal Bank With A Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 72.9 Bn And A Growth Rate Of 10.84% During The Same Period.
