First Bank Has Revealed A List Of Top Listed Banks In Terms Of Achieving Shareholder Equity, Based On The Return On Average Equity Ratio (ROE). HD Bank Topped The List With A Rate Of 26.73% After achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 3.015 Bn In H1 2023.
The List, Which Included 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Showed That All Banks Achieved Positive ROE. Due To Their Success In Generating Profits At Varying Levels And Not Incurring Any Losses During The Financial Period From January To June 2023.
ROE Reflects Banks' Ability To Invest Shareholders' Equity In Generating Suitable Levels Of Profits During The Analyzed Period. The Higher The Return, The More Efficient The Banks Are In Utilizing Their Shares To Achieve Satisfactory Profit Levels.
According To The List, Credit Agricole Egypt Secured The Second Position With ROE Of 22.96% In H1 Of The Current Year. The Bank Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 2.509 Bn During The Same Period.
ADIB Egypt Ranked Third With ROE Of 20.81%, Supported By A Net Profit Of EGP 2.088 bn In H1 2023.
Commercial international Bank CIB- Egypt Came Fourth With A ROE Of 20.67% During The First 6 Months Of The Current Year, After Achieving A Net Profit Of EGP 14.143 Bn During The Analyzed Period.
QNB Al Ahli Secured The Fifth Position With ROE Of 14.92%, Following A Net Profit Of EGP 8.212 Bn In H1 2023.
