EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 54.679 points on Monday

The Egyptian pound index Increased against the major currencies during Monday 25 September 2023, The index reached 54.679 points, compared to 54.629 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Increased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Saudi riyal, Euro Japanese Yen It Fell against pound sterling and settled against Chinese Yuan, UAE dirham, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.96 to EGP 32.93 while the average buying fell from EGP 32.85 to EGP 32.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decreased from EGP 8.25 to EGP 8.24 while the average buying rose from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 20.85 to EGP 20.82. while the average buying decreased from EGP 20.78 to EGP 20.75 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Increased from EGP 37.87 to EGP 37.88 while the average buying Declined from EGP 37.74 to EGP 37.75 at the end of today's trading  

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.23 while the average buying fell from EGP 4.22 EGP 4.21 at the end of today's trading 

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
