The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Monday 24 July 2023, The index reached 53.029 points, compared to 52.765 points at last Wednesday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Euro, Japanese Yen it fell against Chinese Yuan, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.71 to EGP 34.33 while the average buying decreased from EGP 34.59 to EGP 34.22 at the end of today's trading.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.96 to EGP 39.73 while the average buying decreased from EGP 39.82 to EGP 39.59 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP4.28 to EGP4.30 while the average buying rose from EGP 4.27 to EGP 4.28 at the end of today's trading.
