According to First Bank list of the fastest-growing banks in total shareholders' Equity during the first half of this year, saib topped the list with a growth rate of 34.37%, as its total portfolio reached EGP11.412 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP8.486 bn at the end of December 2022.

ADIB Egypt secured the second position, with its total shareholders' Equity portfolio growing by 32.65% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP11.438 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP8.623 bn at the end of December 2022. AAIB came in third with a growth rate of 25.56% during the same period.

Credit Agricole Egypt ranked fourth, with its total shareholders' Equity increasing by 20.17% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP11.927 bn by the end of June 2023, up from EGP9.925 bn at the end of December 2022.

HD Bank secured the fifth position, achieving a growth rate of 18.17% in its total shareholders' Equity during the first half of this year, reaching EGP12.221 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP 10.342 bn at the end of December 2022.

Ahli United Bank- Egypt came in sixth with a growth rate of 17.50% during the first half of this year, as its total shareholders' Equity portfolio reached EGP 12.364 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP 10.523 bn at the end of December 2022.

Emirates NBD Egypt ranked seventh with a growth rate of 17.48% during the first half of this year, recording a total shareholders' Equity of EGP9.996 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP8.509 bn at the end of December 2022.

The eighth position was taken by ABK - Egypt with a growth rate of 17.21% during the first half of this year, as its total shareholders' Equity reached EGP 7.282 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP6.212 bn at the end of December 2022, followed by Banque du Caire with a growth rate of 16.22% during the same period.

 Attijariwafa bank ranked tenth with a growth rate of 13.23% during the first half of this year, as its total shareholders' Equity moved from EGP6.317 bn at the end of December 2022 to EGP7.153 bn by the end of June 2023.

Alex Bank, alBaraka bank, Suez Canal Bank with 12.60%, 11.46%, 10.98% during the same period of the current year.

 It's worth noting that all the mentioned values and growth rates in the analysis above are based on separate financial statements announced by each bank at the end of June 2023.
