alBaraka Bank, saib, and Crédit Agricole bank, Fastest-growing banks in total financial investments during H1-2023
First Bank
According to First Bank list of the fastest-growing banks. alBaraka bank topped the list with a growth rate of 34.71%, increasing its total portfolio to EGP42.64 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to 31.66 billion by the end of December 2022.
saib secured the second position with a growth rate of 29.36%, reaching a total financial investment of EGP29.08 bn by June 2023, up from EGP22.48 bn by December 2022.
Crédit Agricole - Egypt came in third place with a growth rate of 28.30%, recording EGP16.82 bn by June 2023, compared to EGP13.11 bn by December 2022.
Ahli United Bank - Egypt ranked fourth with a growth rate of 20.62%, increasing its total financial investments to EGP20.46 bn by June 2023, compared to EGP 16.97 bn by December 2022.
Alex Bank secured the fifth position with a growth rate of 19.78%, reaching EGP38.72 bn by June 2023, compared to EGP32.33 bn by December 2022. Attijariwafa bank followed in sixth place with a growth rate of 18.61%, recording a total financial investment of EGP22.82 bn by June 2023, up from EGP 19.24 bn by December 2022.
Arab African International Bank ranked seventh with a growth rate of 18.55% during the same period. QNB Al Ahli Egypt took the eighth position with a growth rate of 11.74% during the first half of this year, reaching a total financial investment of about EGP 195.4 bn by June 2023, compared to EGP 174.9 bn by December 2022.
Emirates NBD - Egypt came in ninth place with a growth rate of 10.97%, increasing its total financial investments to EGP31.29 bn by June 2023, compared to EGP28.20 bn by December 2022. Egyptian Gulf Bank (EGBANK) secured the tenth position with a growth rate of 6.52% during the first half of this year, recording a total investment portfolio of EGP38.22 bn by June 2023, compared to 35.88 bn by December 2022.
