CBE: Gold reserves grow by 4.34%, reaching $7.644 bn by September-2023 end

According to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt, Gold constituted about 21.86% of the total foreign exchange reserves, which stood at $34.970 bn by the end of September 2023.

 Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) increased to $29 mn, a growth of 123.08%, comprising 0.08% of the total foreign exchange reserves. 

The value of foreign currencies in the reserves was $27.299 bn by the end of September 2023, making up 78.06% of the total foreign exchange reserves. 

It's worth noting that net international reserves rose to $34.970 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to $34.928 bn at the end of the previous August.
