HD bank wins 3 prestigious awards from 'World Business Outlook' magazine for 2023

'World Business Outlook' magazine announced its list of winners, where Housing and Development Bank received 3 prestigious awards, including the 'Fastest-Growing Banks in Terms of Joint Loans in Egypt for 2023' award.
Additionally, Housing and Development Bank received 'Fastest-Growing Commercial Bank in Egypt' award for 2023, and the 'Fastest Growing Issuer of Credit Cards in Egypt for 2023' award.
It's worth mentioning that the bank achieved positive results in its key indicators during the first half of this year, with its net profits jumping by 150.41% to reach EGP3.015 bn in the first half of 2023, compared to EGP 1.204 bn during the same period in 2022, an increase of EGP1.811 bn.
The bank's total assets increased by 6.79% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP110.665 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP103.632 bn by the end of 2022, an increase of EGP7.033 bn.
Furthermore, the total portfolio of customer loans and facilities grew by 6.32% in the first 6 months of this year, totaling EGP40.573 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP38.163 bn by the end of December 2022, an increase of EGP 2.410 bn.
The customer deposits portfolio at the bank increased by 1.57% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP90.889 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP89.485 bn by the end of 2022, an increase of EGP1.404 bn"
