NBE wins 4 awards from "World Business Outlook" magazine for 2023

NBE has won 4 awards from "World Business Outlook" magazine for 2023 The awards include "Best Bank for Personal Banking Services in Egypt for 2023," "Best Digital Bank in Egypt," "Most Trusted Bank in Corporate Social Responsibility in Egypt," and "Best Bank for Trade Financing in Egypt" for the year 2023.

The bank's total deposits increased to EGP 3.4 tn by the end of June 2023, with a growth rate of approximately 6.25% in the first half of the current year. Additionally, the bank increased its total retail banking portfolio to EGP 256 bn by the end of June, marking a growth of about 12.77% in the first half of 2023.

Corporate loans also saw a significant increase, reaching about EGP1.563 tn by the end of June 2023, a rise of EGP205 bn compared to the end of December 2022.

The bank's support for small and medium-sized projects led to a total financing portfolio of around EGP159bn by the end of June 2023, showing a growth rate of 11.20% in the first half of the current year, with an increase of EGP16 bn.

 This contributed to the overall increase in loans, which reached EGP 1.978 tn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP1.7 tn at the end of December 2022, marking an increase of EGP278 bn.
