Suez Canal Bank participated in the conference "Her Strength, Our Future: Women Leading Sustainable Development," held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, in Alexandria city, in collaboration with the Alexandria Businesswomen Association. This participation reflects the bank's social responsibility and support for women's entrepreneurship.

The bank's involvement included sponsoring the production of leather bags made by people with disabilities in cooperation with the Hayat Association, which focuses on developing life skills, work skills, handicrafts, artistic skills, and physical fitness to integrate people with disabilities into society.

The bank's participation in this conference demonstrates its commitment to supporting women and social development, highlighting the importance of women's involvement in economic development. The conference, attended by approximately 400 women from the business sector and sustainable development in Egypt, was organized under the auspices of several ministries and with the presence of government representatives, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations.

Additionally, Dr. Sayed Turki was honored for his support of women's economic empowerment and raising awareness about social development issues. Dr. Azza Mahfouz, the president of the Alexandria Businesswomen Association, was also honored on the occasion of the association's 25th anniversary for its support of Egyptian women both within and outside Egypt.
