Stocks of Credit Agricole bank, EBank and CIB soar at the close of EGX trading on Tuesday, November 7

First Bank list revealed the performance of bank stocks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the close of Tuesday's trading on November 7, 2023.

Credit Agricole Egypt's stock led the gains with a 6.50% increase, closing at EGP19.66 compared to the opening price of EGP18.46.

The list showed increases in the stocks of 8 banks and a decrease in one bank.

EBank, Egyptian Export Development Bank, secured the second position with a

 

6.33% increase, closing at EGP15.79, and Commercial International Bank (CIB) ranked third with a 3.47% increase, closing at EGP65.60.

Qatar National Bank Al Ahli (QNB) came fourth with a 1.69% increase, closing at EGP27.01, and alBaraka bank ranked fifth with a 1.41% increase, closing at EGP10.04.

Housing and Development Bank ranked sixth with a 0.77% increase, closing at EGP 34. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt ranked seventh with a 0.72% increase, closing at EGP34.88, and Suez Canal Bank ranked eighth with a 0.70% increase, closing at EGP10.01.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (in EGP) decreased by 0.07%, closing at 28 pounds. In terms of dollar-denominated bank stocks, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt remained stable at $0.988, while EGBANK's stock declined by 0.63%, closing at $0.318.
