Midbank participates in the World Savings Day as part of the financial inclusion activities

On the occasion of World Savings Day, which is under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt, during the period from October 15 to 31.  

The activities aim to achieve financial stability in the banking sector to meet the financial needs of the segments of society, especially the marginalized groups.  

The Central Bank of Egypt relies mainly on banks to achieve financial inclusion, and always works to provide many facilities and procedures to enable all individuals to access banking services and products, as well as to manage their financial affairs and secure their financial future.  

The World Savings Day event comes within the framework of the state's strategy to achieve Egypt's vision 2030 and enhance the mechanisms of financial inclusion and digital transformation, and support and empower all segments of society to raise their financial awareness.  

In this context, Midbank is keen to encourage young people to save by organizing awareness seminars on financial inclusion and providing banking services and solutions that suit all segments of society, in addition to empowering them economically and socially and spreading banking awareness among them.  

The World Savings Day event aims every year to promote and spread awareness among the society about the importance and benefits of saving, so that each individual can follow simple methods that lead to maximizing the benefit of saving to achieve higher levels of well-being and happiness.  

Amina Shahin, Head of Retail Banking Sector, said: "We are pleased to participate in all financial inclusion activities and we always keen to support the state and the central bank's efforts in achieving higher indicators of financial inclusion year after year.  

She added that the bank always puts its customers at the top of its priorities to meet all their banking needs, and has already worked to provide special seminars on financial inclusion for young people under the slogan "We work for your future" since the central bank launched the financial inclusion initiative.  

Shahin continued, "We pledge at Midbank to continue raising awareness about financial inclusion through our participation in all activities, including the World Savings Day, to spread awareness about the importance of saving and its positive impact on the economy and society."  

It is worth mentioning that Midbank held educational seminars in the governorates of Egypt for more than 1,500 people to raise financial awareness last year, which included the governorates of Cairo, Giza and Port Said, at Helwan University, October 6 University and Port Said Sports Club, as part of the financial inclusion activities to celebrate the International Youth Day last year. Midbank also held seminars this year at Al-Jalala University, Maadi Youth Center and also in Beni Suef Governorate through the presidential initiative Decent Life.
